Rapport, juni 1996
Jean Schweitzer, DGC

The last years a growing demand for more comfort and a change in userbehaviour has increased the use of hot water in dwellings. As a result hereof the energy consumption for hot water use has also increased and has become a non-negligible part of the energy consumption of dwellings. Moreover with the reinforcement of building insulation regulations, the relative part of energy consumption used for space heating has decreased and the energy use for hot water produetion has increased.
