State of the art in repsearch on measuring and modelling domestic heating appliances in the EU

During the last decades the creation of a single EU market has put in focus the measurement and testing difficulties in Europe. Despite the existence of CEN harmonised test standards, the results of the tests of central heating boilers are not reproducible enough and this is a barrier for the development and application of regulations and directives aiming at energy saving and CO2 reduction.
